My good friend and I live in Illinois and want to travel together to help with the oil spill. We are most interested in helping clean up animals, but we'd be willing to help in any way we can.
We want to stay for a week, but neither of us can afford that. The flight is already going to be a lot, so what we have been trying to find is free lodging for volunteers (whether it be a hotel, a host family etc.).
Does anyone know of such opportunities?
