Wow.. an interesting surprise here upon my arrival in Montreal..An American Airlines DC-3 NC17334!! IT turned out it was here to celebrate AA's history of service to YUL and they brought in this old plane to show support for the city and the employees working here. It's apparently the oldest DC-3 still flying today..built in 1936.

Together with Martinair's DC-3 in Amsterdam I would nevert have guessed I'd see two DC-3s on this short trip to Europe.. I've been very lucky!

Taken from the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien, sailing in the San Francisco Bay as the 2010 San Francisco Fleet Week air display took place over our heads.
The C-130T Hercules transport plane affectionately known as "Fat Albert Airlines" makes a low pass across the San Francisco Bay heading straight at us as we watch from the deck of the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien. "Fat Albert Airlines" is used to transport all of the support staff and equipment used to keep the Blue Angels flying as they go 'on the road'.
