Tom Cruise came to Grays Harbor to meet a contest winner. This is him coming in at Bowerman Airport in Hoquiam. He was a very nice man, and even called a boy who had wanted to see him, and asked the kid how his track meet was going.

it's been a while hey. been busy finishing off uni (yay) and picking up work again.

shot a birthday event to cover for a friend. got some cash and a wonderful cruise on a yacht in the most beautiful harbour in the world. sydney, of course.

here's a couple of pics i quite liked. first time i've shot on a boat. very tempted to play 'I'm on a boat' right now

shot the entire event using the 10-22, and ended up carrying the rest of my glass for the rest of the night =.=. first long event i've done and damn it's tiring lol this one went for about 7 hours and i monstered through every battery i had on me

first use of the Demb flash bracket. could be the best i've spent in recent times. makes portrait shots with a flash too easy. recommended.

any thoughts on what i can do about that jpeg artefacting appreciated. processed RAW in LR3 with JPEG export. it's shitting me
