The Philippine tarsier, (Tarsius syrichta) is very peculiar small animal. In fact it is one of the smallest known primates, no larger than a adult men's hand. Mostly active at night, it lives on a diet of insects. Folk traditions sometimes has it that tarsiers eat charcoal, but actually they retrieve the insects from (sometimes burned) wood. It can be found in the islands of Samar, Leyte, Bohol, and Mindanao in the Philippines
I have a facebook fan page, where I put more pictures and update my location and which country I am visiting. Also I answer any question related to photography as much as I can. So if you interested you can register as a fan by clicking the link below. Thank you all

The Travelling Blues

i was exhausted leaving venice...having tramped around the place for twelve hours or so, having slept in the godforsaken boarding house they called a hotel, having paid 5 euro for the privilege of 15 minutes on a computer...
so I left venice and hung up my bags...i needed to recuperate and see a few people and places that i knew for a a while...i'd travelled almost at the speed of light...paris, lisbon, madrid, barcelona, montpelier, marseille, a brief moment in roma, then venice...and my plan was to head east, maybe even get to the ukraine before having to head back to reality...
so leaving venice, things finally got wet for the first time in three weeks, but it was pleasant, peeking out of the train, fiddling with my playlist and flicking through a couple of books.
yeah, venice was hellish but nice all at the same time.
