What do you use to keep money secure when going out of country?

I dont want to keep money in a purse, and fanny packs are dorky. Are there any other travel accessories out there people use to keep money secure while traveling out of the country?
thanks-and if you know something please tell me where you can get it. Nothing expensive. Thanks!

If you are staying at a hotel, check to see if they
have room safes. Take a minimum amount of
money with you, and store the rest in the safe.
Don't lose the key.
You can carry a small wallet with you. Also there
are waterproof pouches with a neck chain on them
that you can carry money, keys, etc., in them.
Still, only carry a small amount with you.

I have two pouches that go under my clothing. One goes around your neck and the other fits around your waist. Either way, the idea is to be able to carry money safely and avoid casual pickpockets. Take a look at the links below for examples.

My dad has a money belt, but I don't personally care for these - no reason - just my taste.

Happy travels!
